In September 2015, Apple introduced the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, updated versions of its first smartphones with large screens. The iPhone 6s Plus is based on a dual-core 64-bit Apple A9 processor with a clock speed of 1.84 GHz. In addition, the smartphone is equipped with a six-cluster PowerVR GT7600 graphics chip and an M9 motion coprocessor, which is built directly into the SoC.
The iPhone 6s Plus features the 5.5-inch LED-backlit Retina display, sporting a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 that translates to 401 pixels per inch. Other display specifications include a 1300:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 max brightness and a full sRGB color gamut.
