Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 was launched on 26 July, 2023. It comes with a 7.6-inch Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display which supports resolution of 1812 x 2176 pixels at ~373 pixels-per-inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is powered by Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and Adreno 740 GPU. It offers 12GB RAM and 256GB / 512GB / 1TB storage options. The phone runs One UI 5.1.1 on top of Android 13 operating system.
Smartphone uses the same camera setup on its flagship 2023 foldable as the Fold 4. So, there’s a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera with OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, and a 10MP f/2.4 3x telephoto shooter. The 4MP under-display and 10MP f/2.2 selfie shooter on the cover display also remain unchanged.
As for features, you get 4K@60fps and 8K video recording, 3x optical zoom with up to 30x digital zoom, AI-based object detection, and the ability to capture high-resolution 50MP photos.
