Xiaomi Redmi 5 was announced in December, 2017, It was released in December 2017. The basic Redmi 5 has a 5.7-inch screen and rocks Snapdragon 450 SoC configured with three RAM and storage options. The base variant has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, followed by 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. For this review, we had the 3GB RAM variant of Redmi 5.
